In the face of the pandemic, the RE department pivoted to home-based catechesis for all families through their new program, At Home With Jesus. More than 630 families are currently registered (you can still register your family, by the way!) and making use of the many new resources we’ve made available, including virtual storytimes and gatherings. We know this year has been full of changes for all of our families, and we are grateful for each and every one of you.

The Youth Ministry department wishes everyone a Merry Christmas! We are excited to have finished our first semester of both virtual and in-person formation. It has been beautiful to see how God is moving despite the trying times we find ourselves in. During these pandemic days, it's more important than ever to stay connected with your parish family and friends.

Genesis continues to celebrate its 25th year despite 2020’s challenges, and during Advent and Christmas, the children participate in some favorite traditions and activities, from reenacting the nativity scene to drawing a gift to be given to baby Jesus. In a time that is so unpredictable, at Genesis we are happy to provide some normalcy and traditionally Genesis activities for the children of the community!
