“Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival.” — Luke 12:37
The Lord calls us to remain vigilant, always prepared to welcome Him when He comes. But vigilance is not simply about waiting; it is about how we live each day. In the busyness of our routines, it can be easy to become distracted, grow comfortable in our faith, or overlook the ways God is present in our lives. Through prayer, the Eucharist, acts of kindness, forgiveness, and care for others, we keep our hearts awake and attentive to the Lord. We may not know when He will come, but we can prepare ourselves each day to receive Him, trusting that His coming is not something to fear, but a promise of eternal joy.
Perhaps the question for us this week is not simply, “Am I waiting for the Lord?” but “Am I living each day with a heart that is awake, prepared, and ready to welcome Him?”

Christ the Redeemer’s Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (PEA) ministry invites our parish family to encounter Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament—24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
By spending time with the Lord in the Eucharist, we respond to His invitation and strengthen our parish’s faith and love for Christ. To keep this ministry thriving, we need more adorers. Will you answer His call? Sign up at adoration@ctrcc.com.
